This Easy Keto Pizza Dip is a quick, warm, and savory recipe you can feel good about indulging in with low carb bread sticks, pork rinds, or just a fork!
Pizza is suuch a beautiful, delicious, and addictive food. It's one of my lifelong absolute favorites. But traditional pizza does not fit very well with a ketogenic diet.
In fact, it's one of the main carby foods that tempts ketoers into falling off the low carb wagon.
The smell...the taste...even looking at it. I can't deny it's gorgeous! But if you indulge, your body will not be very happy with you.
That's why I'm committed to showing you as many keto-friendly pizza alternatives as possible.
Of course we know that a traditional crust is loaded with carbs, gluten and other things that can make you feel overstuffed and bloated AND kick you out of ketosis.
The other, less mentioned, obstacle can be the tomato sauce. It's obviously one of the greatest parts of any pizza, but check your labels! Many pizza sauces are loaded with sugar...and you don't need all that.
And there's hope!
Of course you can always make your own, but if you're in a pinch and haven't found a good, store bought, low-carb sauce yet, I want to introduce you to Rao's Homemade. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's yummy, it's made with quality ingredients and only ends up being a few net carbs per serving.
I think that's a pretty good deal.
Anyway, back to the low carb pizza goodness....
Let's take a quick tour of my past posts. These are all amazing, keto-friendly pizza options that will keep you happy, full, and in ketosis! I've also heard many of them are big hits with friends and family members who don't follow a low carb lifestyle:
Pork Rind Pizza Crust
Chicken Crust Pizza
Chicken Taco Pizza
Broccoli Crust Pizza
Fathead Pizza Pockets
And now today...
Easy Keto Pizza Dip
When I was in grade school, our choir learned what would essentially become the theme song for my pizza-loving life. It was kind of a long song, but I never forgot the chorus:
"Pizza, pizza, thick tomato paste!
Lotsa mozzarella on your face
So hurry up and slice it up there's not a minute more to waste
With twenty-seven toppings we can't miss a single taste!"
Sing it with me, folks!
Now I love a good low carb pizza alternative, I love a good dip, and I love a good marriage between two of my favorite things. Long story short, I LOVE this recipe.
It won't take you long at all (just about 40 minutes for prep and cook time) and the macros per serving (1 serving is about ½ cup, but it's VERY filling) are something to feel good about:
Calories: 318
Total Carbs: 8g
Fiber: 1g

When I try out and post different dips, like this one for my Keto Chorizo Dip, a lot of people ask me what you can dip that's keto-friendly.
We all know most dips call for chips, bread, or crackers...but why not pork rinds, veggies, or even just a fork!?
For this recipe I made low carb bread sticks to go with the keto pizza dip. I used this recipe for keto dinner rolls (they're seriously the best, even if you don't want to use it for this dip, click on it now!) and I cut the dough into little bread-stick like rectangles before baking.
Ready for easy keto pizza dip? Here's how I made it!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what you could substitute with, but I think you might be fine just leaving it out. Let me know if you give it a try!
